Poyang Black King Kong (BKK) has introduced its largest treble hook that incorporates the company’s best technology to help ‘extreme’ anglers catch the biggest Bluefin Tune and GT on the planet.

And the new GT-REX 6/0 has already proved a hit – taking a 152 cm (5’) GT off Hambantota, Sri Lanka, and a 145 cm (4’ 9”) specimen off Komodo Island, Indonesia.

BKK says that the hooks provide a superior hook-up rate and impaling power, combined with the strongest wires and anti-rust features.

Innovative sealing technology is used to make the diameter of the GT-REX hook eye as small as possible to get through split rings more easily while retaining its strength. The compact sealing also increases the elasticity to reduce the chances of the hook being pulled.
