Fishing boat brands, Bass Cat and Yar-Craft, have completed the construction of a facility that will increase production capacity by 40%.
“The new building, plus additions to an existing one, will improve products and overall operations,” said Bass Cat and Yar-Craft President, Rick Pierce.
“It will increase efficiency, give each brand dedicated production areas and improve capacity,” he added. “Also, our sales department now has the flexibility and capacity to meet the demands on both brands, which we could not do previously.”
Bill Yeargin, President and CEO of Correct Craft, which owns the brands, said the expansion would benefit customers, employees and vendors.
Florida-based Correct Craft is reputed to be the oldest family-owned and operated boat manufacturer in the world.
