A Worcestershire fishery joined others across the nation in opening its gates to anglers following the much celebrated return to fishing across England as COVID-19 lockdown restrictions were eased today.
Moorlands Farm Fishery, in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, was glad to welcome anglers back to its banks, but under strict social distancing measures. Anglers were asked to purchase their day ticket and any bait before they started fishing.
The 120 peg venue has been divided up into sections where anglers can choose to fish, but keeping a social distance of 15 metres as outlined by the UK’s governing body, the Angling Trust.
Anglers were more than happy to be out on the bank again and were respectful of the rules set out by the fishery.
Moorlands Farm echoes the efforts of the vast number of other commercial fisheries in England that were back in business today.
