The Australian Fishing Trade Association (AFTA) has appointed a Communications Manager to help keep its membership informed.
Heatha Nicholas, who started her career in the fishing tackle industry with Pure Fishing brand Shakespeare in the mid-90s and more recently sold advertising space on AFTR magazine, is looking forward to getting in touch with all of its membership, says AFTA.
It adds: “It is important to us that our membership base is kept in the loop about what the AFTA Board is doing for individual members and the industry as a whole. The organisation works with the trade for the industry and for the future of recreational fishing for all Australians.”
AFTA has also published the agenda for its Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place digitally in the form of an online video conference for the first time on Thursday July 30th at 11am (AEST).
