Africa’s oldest recreational fishing magazine has changed hands.
Tight Lines, which was established in 1960 by two avid anglers, was the only publication in South Africa that covered all species and angling disciplines in both freshwater and saltwater.
It has now been taken over by All Lion Enterprises (Pty), of Johannesburg, the publisher of The Bank Angler, The Bass Angler and The Carp Angler magazines.
It has been relaunched by the new owner, who took over at the beginning of the month, as a saltwater publication with a strong emphasis on angling-based tourism.
