Zebco Europe has announced further developments in its management structure following the appointment of Ricky Teale as the new business head.
Day-to-day operational business at the company’s headquarters in Tostedt, Germany will be managed by Director Europe Marketing & Product Development Frerk Petersen, and by Sales Director Europe Dietmar Isaiasch.
Both men will report to Ricky Teale, who took up his role of Commercial Director Europe, in charge of both Zebco Europe and UK-based Preston Innovations, on April 1st.
Zebco Europe’s long-serving Managing Director, Peter Delwes, will take retirement before the end of the year.
Petersen (51) has been with the company for more than 16 years and has been integral to its growth in Europe. He assumes the role of authorised signatory and remains responsible for product development and much of the company’s marketing operation.
He also takes responsibility for all internal departments, including warehousing, import, after sales and customer service.
Isaiasch, who joined Zebco Europe earlier this year, will directly manage the sales teams in Germany, the Netherlands and France. Sales managers in England and Poland, as well as export sales managers, will also report to him.
In addition, he will bring his experience to product development and is charged with developing trade concepts, especially for the Quantum brand and the predator sector.
Petersen and Isaiasch, who have known each other for 25 years, will receive support from a Finance Director to be appointed later this year. All three will report to Ricky Teale, who in turn reports to Jeff Pontius, CEO of Zebco Brands in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Following his appointment of Teale, Pontius told Angling International: “Ricky won’t be on site day-to-day, but we have very good people in both companies who we can rely on. Further empowerment is healthy.”
The new structure has the full endorsement of the outgoing Delwes. “This reassures me that the company for which I worked for more than 20 years will be in good hands in the future,” he said.
“Frerk Petersen knows the company’s processes like the back of his hand, and Dietmar Isaiasch brings important momentum from outside. To me, that is an ideal constellation. Together with Ricky Teale, they will ensure that our brands become even more indispensable.”
