A former executive with one of the world’s best known corporations has joined US-based Zebco Brands as its Brand Director.
Dave Johns, who managed iconic brands like Tide and Pampers for Procter & Gamble, the American multi-national consumer goods company, will join the fishing tackle manufacturer this week.
Zebco says that during his time at P&G Johns demonstrated many of the cultural beliefs of its parent company, W.C. Bradley – none more so than a ‘customer first’ philosophy. He was responsible for brand strategy, product innovation, consumer research & shopper insights, digital and e-commerce.
His role as Zebco Brands Director will focus on creating and implementing growth strategies to maximise Zebco’s ‘powerful’ heritage.
Johns, who is relocating to Tulsa from Cincinnati with his wife, Rachel, and three sons, will be making his first public appearance on the Zebco booth during next week’s ICAST trade show.
