Williamson SubSurface Pro offers saltwater options

The new SubSurface Pro lure from Williamson offers saltwater anglers a number of options.
The versatile bait is balanced and weighted to sink horizontally and its fluttering, dying baitfish motion is designed to attract species that like to prowl just below the surface.
The SubSurface Pro can be allowed to sink to the bottom and then jerked and paused on the retrieve, producing a repeated sinking motion.
Another approach – particularly when fishing for aggressive feeders – is to work the lure back rip and stop style, using both the tip of the rod and the reel to stimulate takes.
Alternatively, the lure can be retrieved at a slower pace, using the rod tip to create a zig-zag path through the water.
“Williamson has really hit a home run with the SubSurface Pro,” says TV’s George Poveromo, host of World of Saltwater Fishing. “It allows you to fish a number of different techniques and is perfect for a variety of pelagic gamefish.”
The rugged stainless steel through-wire construction features two heavy-duty inline VMC hooks. The SubSurface Pro measures 5.125ins, weighs 2oz and comes in 10 colour patterns.
