WFT outlines China Fish importance
Christian Dibisch was a familiar face walking the aisles of the New China Exhibition Centre in Beijng. The Managing Director of German tackle manufacturer World Fishing Tackle (WFT) is a regular visitor to China Fish and puts great store in the value of visiting the show.
“It gives me the opportunity to meet a lot of people in the space of just two days and all in one place,” Dibisch told Angling International’s staff at the show.
“It can save me many days of travelling to other countries throughout the year. Just going to Japan, for example, would take at least five days, but I can meet those Japanese contacts in Beijing. The same goes for other countries.
“Talking to people in the industry has never been more important than now. The market in Europe is changing faster than ever, with companies finding their consumers in different ways. It is important to stay in touch with the changing trends.”
High on Dibisch’s list of appointments in Beijing was the Hong Guan Tackle Company, which recently took on the distribution of WFT’s hugely successful Gliss line in South East Asia. Based in Singapore, Hong Guan is the manufacturer of the well-known Pioneer brand and is a regular exhibitor at China Fish.
