Westin strengthens distribution network in Poland

Scandinavian brand Westin has appointed a new distributor in Poland to look after its increasing sales in the country.

The Danish fishing tackle manufacturer has appointed FTT Poland, which already looks after sales of other fishing brands that include Wiley X eyewear, Deeper wireless sonars and Lund boats.

“Since our introduction of Westin into the Polish market in 2015, the awareness and popularity of our products has increased to a point where more hands were needed,” explained Westin COO Thomas Sanotra. “I am extremely excited to have FTT onboard. It has the experience and skills needed to work with a premium brand such as ours. Its background in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) will help us bring an aggressive focus on our presence instore, which will help set Westin apart from the rest.

“With a background at Red Bull Poland, Lukasz Siminski and Michal Kuzniar – the brains behind FTT-Poland – have a good track record of working alongside premium brands like Westin,” he added.

“We are very excited to work with such a great brand as Westin and such cordial people,” said Kuzniar. “It is already well known and appreciated among Polish anglers and we are here to strengthen that relationship and make Westin lures more readily available in shops. We are also keen to introduce products that are not so well known – like the Westin rods and hybrid lures. Our aim is to highlight how unique its products are, emphasising their hand-painted detail and the exceptional action of the baits.”
