Rok Max, the big game tackle company backed by Formula One motor racing icon Ross Brawn, has launched its new website.
The UK business was taken over by Allan Shephard and Duncan Goldsmith three months ago, and after relocation from Cornwall to Berkshire, the pair have focused on reinventing the website.
“Our objective is to expand the business into a global brand. To do that we needed to bring the site into line with the latest e-commerce technology,” said Shephard, formerly Marketing and Brands Manager for Sportfish.
“This will help us to take the business into new product categories and to build on the strong reputation that we have in the market. This is a new chapter for Rok Max.”
The site has a full range of saltwater products, fly fishing gear, popper and jigging tackle, plus clothing and a range of Costa sunglasses.
To make navigation simple, the product range is split into key sections relating to specialist areas, with a drop-down function to target specific requirements. The site will also feature periodic reports from co-owner Brawn when on his fishing travels.
Brawn, OBE, is former technical director of Benetton and Ferrari and more recently team principal for Honda, Brawn GP and Mercedes. He retired from Formula One 18 months ago after steering his teams to an amazing nine World Constructors’ Championships.
