Scientific Anglers says that the aim of its Frequency series is to create an affordable, durable and easy-to-understand family of fly lines.
With three floating tapers and three sinking ones, the company says that the line choices are simple, but the possibilities ‘limitless’.
The floating lines include:
- The Trout taper, built for precision presentations;
- The Boost, a half-heavy size taper for handling bigger dry flies, nymphs and streamers;
- The Magnum, a more powerful line for the largest streamers and poppers.
These are offered alongside Sink-Tip, Full Sink and Intermediate lines for sub-surface fishing.
Each Frequency line series is built with Scientific Anglers’ Advanced Shooting Technology (AST) and features a welded front loop, resulting in lines that provide immediate – and lasting – benefits cast after cast.
The company adds that creating a line family with a simplified offering was critical, but making sure the lines handle a wide variety of conditions was of the utmost importance. “From temperate saltwater situations to winter trout outings, the Frequency Series will stand up to the elements, season after season,” it promises.
“We are proud to introduce the new Frequency family of fly lines – simplified, hard-working and affordable at just $49 (US) each.”
