Leading American fishing boat manufacturer, Lund Boats, has added another Rebel to its portfolio.
At 17 feet 6 inches in length, and with an ample 85 inch beam, the new 1750 Rebel XS is said to offer exceptional engineering at a ‘truly tremendous’ price.
“No other boat in its class has so many superior fishing features as the 1750 Rebel XS,” noted Jason Oakes, Director of Marketing at Lund.
It is the first Rebel model to offer centre rod storage and can accommodate five rods of up to 7 feet, while a side locker safeguards additional rods up to 8 feet 6 inches long.
Built around Lund’s patented IPS® hull, the new Rebel is initially offered with a side console (SS) or a full windshield (Sport). It is strategically priced between Lund’s 1650 Rebel XL and the popular 1775 Impact and is poised to become one of the top value craft in boat fishing, says the company.
In addition to rod storage it houses a 14 gallon aerated livewell, hi-tech command console, plenty of storage areas and a cockpit area capable of accommodating up to six anglers.
Oakes added that several ‘exciting’ options are also available. “Like some of our more advanced models, the Rebel XS is capable of transforming into a dual-purpose fish and ski boat,” he said.
Armed with Lund’s exclusive Sport Trak™ gunwales for adding rod holders and other accessories without drilling holes, as well as the Pro Trak™ boat covering system, the craft offers budget-minded anglers and watersport enthusiasts with the best of both worlds, added Oakes.
With prices starting at under $20,000 (boat, 90hp 4-stroke engine and trailer), the new 1750 Rebel XL can be seen at boat shows across the US this summer.
