A Houston, Texas, technology company has introduced what it describes as the world’s first heated jacket with patented My Core Control. The jacket incorporates personal thermal control technology that gives the wearer the ability to actually change their core body temperature at the push of a button.
The technology provides heat to the pulse point area of the inner wrists and utilises the heart as a pump, the blood as the coolant and the circulatory system as the radiator. As the heart beats heated blood is pumped throughout the entire body.
A microprocessor controller provides three temperature settings to adjust the warmth to fit your comfort and activity level. Batteries re-charge in six hours and are rechargeable for over 500 cycles.
The solid, heated wrist devices and button are waterproof, while internal highly-water-resistant battery pouches with PU zippers keep the batteries dry during operation.
The My Core Control system offers three levels of adjustable heat and up to 12 hours of performance.
The device can be hand-washed and hang dried. There is a lifetime guarantee on electrical components subject to proper care. My Core Control includes two rechargeable 3.7 volt lithium-ion batteries with a combined 7500 MAH of power, plus charger.
