UK fishing accessories supplier, Frenzee, has been put up for sale after being deemed surplus to requirements by its owner.
The company, which is based in Wales, is presenting its sale as an ‘exciting and rare’ opportunity to purchase a widely known niche business with excellent potential for development and growth.
It adds: “Due to not being in its wider business interests and investment strategy, the owner of Frenzee has decided to offer the business and brand for sale.”
Frenzee is well known in its field despite being relatively small – its 2019 catalogue had 48 pages and featured 640 skus. Currently it only operates in the commercial fishery and match markets with a small customer base in the UK and Europe. “There is a clear opportunity to take the brand to another level,” it says.
The company adds: “Frenzee has a very good reputation for innovation, quality and customer service and around 10,000 followers on social media. It is well represented by a strong team of sponsored anglers that include Jonny Whincup and Phil Canning.”
