US-based manufacturer, Tycoon Tackle, has established a distribution network in Australia and New Zealand.
The Waynesboro, Virginia-based manufacturer of rods and accessories has agreed a deal with Saltwater Fly Workshop (SWFW) that will see its entire range of fly fishing products available in the region. Last year SWFW appointed Tycoon Tackle to look after its sales in the US.
Scotty Sparnon, Owner and Founder of SWFW, said: “We are extremely pleased to be the Australia and New Zealand distributor for the brilliant range of US-made Tycoon Tackle fly rods. We are looking forward to working with the company and its pro-staff team.”
“This is a ‘relationship of the ages’ between two companies that are on top of their game,” said Tim O’Brien, President of Tycoon Tackle. “Saltwater Fly Workshop not only manufactures extremely high quality and cutting-edge flies to attract all types of species, but its expertise in the fly fishing arena is without a doubt world-class. The partnership will open markets that only previously existed in a dream world. I look forward to working with Scotty and his team for many years to come.”
