Strike King celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, but the US lure producer has no intention of sitting on its laurels and has an exciting range of new products in store for 2016.
Touted as the best model yet in the popular XD series, the 8XD is designed for anglers who like the action of the 6XD, but not the torque of the 12XD.
Incorporating all the premium features as the other lures in the series, the 8XD has a bullet-like dive that digs down to 20 feet and displays the signature XD wobble.
The crankbait measures five-and-a-half inches, weighs 1.3 ounces and is available in a variety of different colours.
Also new for 2016 is an addition to the Red Eye Shad series featuring a specially designed tungsten sound chamber that emits a double-tap cadence.
The Tungsten 2-Tap retains the tournament-proven features common to the range, with the lure’s subtle change in sound making it a great choice for pressured fishing conditions. This can make all the difference on those all-important tournament days, says Strike King.
Featuring 3D eyes and premium looks, this new sinking model is two-and-a-half inches long and weighs half an ounce.
Wake up and smell the coffee with Strike King’s Caffeine Shad 7 Inch. Like its four and five-inch predecessors, this big, soft plastic bait features the brand’s exclusive coffee scent which masks human smells and oils.
Its larger profile has been created primarily for waters where bigger baits get the best results, it can be rigged weightless or Carolina style.
