Sportex introduces the Black Pearl rod series

↑ The lighter, faster Black Pearl is an improvement on the legendary Black Stream, says Sportex.

Sportex says it has taken its legendary Black Stream rod series to a new stage of development with the introduction of an even lighter, slim and extremely fast range of spinning rods.

The new Sportex Black Pearl rods have improved upon the unmistakable direct action and speed of their predecessors and are lighter overall. They feature an ergonomically designed handle for increased bait control and non-slip traction in casting.

Adds Sportex: “It’s not only the Sportex quality and distinctive appearance which account for these rods, it is their aggressive character and impressive functionality which makes them truly special.”

The Black Pearl series features 12 individual rods from 7ft up to 10.5ft (210cm to 310cm) and test curves from 20g to 80g (2/3_oz. to 2 2/3_oz.). The full specification table can be viewed by clicking here. Details of all the products in the Sportex range can be found on the brand’s website.

Ockert, the owner of the Sportex and Climax brands, will be exhibiting at China Fish in Beijing in February and also France’s Carrefour National Pêche et Loisirs show from January 13th, where it will be searching for agents to grow sales of its brands in France.
