Solar Tackle aims to make life easier for carp anglers by lightening their load with new tackle barrows and luggage.
The UK company has introduced a double and single-wheel barrow, both with weight-reducing aluminium frames, sturdy steel handles to eliminate buckling and waterproof drop-in bags for extra storage space.
The 18kg two-wheel model scores high on stability, while the single wheel version weighs marginally under 16kg. A key design feature is long, angled handles that feed through metal loops on the back legs and lock them into place, preventing them from collapsing.
The company revealed the new products at its 2018 trade show, Solar also unveiled the SP Barrow/Ruck Bag. On the durability front, it is fully waterproofed, has a tough EVA base and all external pockets are double zipped.
The bag accommodates a matching range of luggage that is sold separately so consumers can personalise storage to their own needs. It also incorporates internal organisers that provide a firm structure but will fold flat if required.
The rucksack straps have a quick release system and can be stored in a front pocket when not being used. The stiff front lid can be adapted as a bivvy table and will take the weight of other tackle when loaded on the barrow.
The new Solar originals bait range and SPC-Tech Bedchairs were also revealed at the trade show.
