Boat manufacturer Lund worked on the basis that size counts when it designed its latest craft, the 2025 Impact Sport.
Building on the success of the Impact range – and in response to anglers’ requests – the company has introduced a 20ft 2in version that it describes as “a serious machine for anglers who fish big waters for big fish and demand plenty of space.”
The boat has Lund’s IPS 2 hull for durability and control, a 96in beam, a 25in transom and heavy duty extruded gunwales to handle the roughest conditions.
With ample room for six people and lots of storage space that includes a giant bow compartment and room for 10 rods, Lund says the 2025 is ideal for multi-angler fishing.
It comes with four seats as standard and an optional aft jump seat plus two standard aerated livewells – a 12-gallon in the bow and 18-gallon aft.
“Great Lakes? Unpredictable Dakota winds? This boat is built to keep you safe and dry and effortlessly holds your position on the break lines to catch more fish,” says Lund’s product information. “It is also rated for up to 200 HP to reach your favourite fishing spots faster.”
Lund was established in 1948 in New York Mills, Minnesota.
