One of the world’s best-known entrepreneurs, Sir Richard Branson, has been introduced to the Deeper™ Fishfinder, created by Lithuanian-based Friday Lab.
The owner of the Virgin Group visited the annual Forum One event in Kiev – the biggest business and leadership conference in Eastern Europe – where he met his long-time business friend, Vladas Lašas, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Friday Lab partner, UPS.
The two were discussing the most innovative Lithuanian start-ups during the show and Lašas introduced the Virgin Airlines chief to the Deeper Fishfinder.
The two businessmen talked about the merits of the Deeper Fishfinder before posing for a joint picture.
UPS, the world’s largest package delivery company, signed a distribution agreement with Friday Lab last year. “We are very happy to know that UPS supports and trusts our products,” said Rolandas Sereika, CMO and one of the co-founders of the Deeper start-up.
“Such great partnerships are significant to our business as we seek to provide our customers with the best product and service.”
• Friday Lab will be at next month’s ICAST, where it will be showing off its Deeper Fishfinder alongside a new feature on its mobile application – the Boat Mode Chart Plotting.
It has been introduced for those who want to know more about the bottom of the lake. The app will enable the creation of a map of fishing locations and the ability to save them in a database.
Deeper sonar is also giving anglers access to its unlimited fish finding history. Previously it was only possible to review 15 minutes of sonar. Now, every inch of Deeper’s path can be accessed.
