ICAST and IFTD award winner Simms Fishing Products visited the White House this week as part of President Donald Trump’s ‘Made in America Week’.
The Bozeman-based fly fishing gear manufacturer, which won five accolades at the two shows in Orlando last week, represented Montana as the Trump administration hosted 50 companies from 50 states across the US.
Rich Hohne, Simms Director of Product Marketing, said that the company could not have been more excited with the invite. “It really made us proud of all the gear we make here. We are certainly big advocates of Made in America.”
President Trump signed a proclamation this week declaring July 16th to 22nd as ‘Made in America Week’ and called on Americans to pay special tribute to ‘all those that make America great’.
