Shimano turns up heat with new Tropical Luggage tackle bags

The need to store your precious collection of lures and soft baits in sizzling temperatures has resulted in the new Shimano Tropical Luggage range of tackle bags.

Shimano Australia says that no longer will hardbaits explode in the sun or soft plastics melt. Its fully insulated luggage system is made from tough tarpaulin material with waterproof zippers and heavy duty straps.

The side pockets feature leader dispensers so that you don’t have to fumble for your leader during a hot bite. All you do is pull the required length, snip it off and leave a tag for the next time.

There are two sizes – the 360 and 370 – and also a cooler or reel storage bag.
