See Eumer’s SpinTubes go to work in a huge tank

Eumer’s SpinTubes caused a stir at EFTTEX 2011 in Amsterdam and clearly excited the trade there – they were voted the winners of the Visitors’ Choice Award at the show.
“EFTTEX visitors are always looking for something new,” says Eumer’s International Sales Manager Olli Ojamo ahead of this year’s EFTTEX in Paris. “And what we had was really new and unique. Visitors to our stand told us that people have tried everything but not fly fishing with a spinning rod. They liked this new idea and they wanted try it.
“We’ve been in the fly fishing business for years and fishing with a fly rod for over 20 years,” he continues. “We’ve noticed that 95% of anglers spin fish and only 5% fly fish. Everyone knows how well flies can catch fish, so we wanted to make a weighted tube fly that was easy to cast with any spinning rod. Now 100% of anglers have the opportunity to fish with a fly without using a fly rod.”
In this video Olli demonstrates how effective SpinTubes can be. It was made at Sweden’s Sportfiskemässan show in March. Adds Olli: “We were there with our distributor Fly Dressing AB. We had three dealers selling SpinTubes and all of them were happy. We did two demos per day over the three days so that visitors could see how good SpinTubes look in action underwater.”
The next stop is EFTTEX in Paris at the beginning of June, where an enlarged SpinTube range will be introduced. “We will be looking for yet more positive reaction when we reach Paris in June,” says Olli.
