Savage Gear, the predator brand from Svendsen Sport, is not short of superlatives when describing The Seeker, the latest in its new saltwater programme.
The lead-free coastal lure is described as “unparalleled, enticing, extremely long casting and incredibly stunning.” Angling International’s favourite however is “brutally good looking” – and when we took an advanced peek at this appropriately named lure we found it hard to argue.
Specifically designed to run shallow with an enticing kicking action, the sleek and sexy Seeker combines a design finesse with imaginative colour schemes in a product that is going to find its way into many tackle boxes.
Savage Gear explains: “This unique lure will rotate slowly to the sides on spin stops, flashing and attracting predators from distance and inducing aggressive strikes.
“Test fishing has proven it will perform wonders with both saltwater and freshwater species. It is especially good for sea bass and sea trout.”
The Seeker incorporates Japanese quality components and treble hooks. It also comes with an additional wide-gape single hook for snag-free mounting.
It is available in two sizes – 7.5cm and 16gr and 9cm and 23gr – and comes in the following colours: Dirty Silver, Psycho Sardine, Psycho Sandeel and Lemon Back Flash.
