Savage Gear Americas continues to build new team

Savage Gear Americas continues to build up its team following the amicable split with Okuma, its former distributor in the region, with the appointment of Jose Chavez as Marketing and Product Manager.
Over the course of the last four years, his role at 13 Fishing grew beyond marketing and PR to include product development and his collaboration with the designers of Coalition Swimbait resulted in the product winning the best saltwater lure at this year’s ICAST.
Savage Gear Americas Vice President, Magnus Gunnarsson, said: “We are really pleased that Jose has joined the team and bringing his wealth of knowledge and ideas. He will be a great asset to help grow the brand over the next years.
