As the date draws near for iceTackle*, the trade show of UK manufacturer and distributor Leeda, more details have emerged on some of the new tackle that will be on view for the first time.
Leeda’s Wychwood carp portfolio is set to change dramatically with the introduction of a new range of rods under the Extricator Plus (EX+) label. It is Wychwood’s small water/stalking series that includes high-end components. A 9ft and 10ft rod will be available and judging by the press imagery, it boasts a minimalist, custom look.
At the other end of the scale, a new range of budget rods that will include a spod/marker has been introduced under its Riot banner, a brand that currently includes Leeda’s base level reel collection – its bestsellers for more than a decade.
Wychwood will also be introducing new MHR brollies. These were among the first to feature a short boss mechanism when launched a number of years ago. The new additions will also include rear vents and upgraded features.
The show is being held at Arena:MK, part of the Milton Keynes Dons football complex, and will run from February 20th to 22nd. More details can be found at icetackle.co.uk, including information on travel and parking, plus subsidised accommodation and free evening entertainment with Japanese, Belgian and American themes.
