Robin Morley has been confirmed as the new President of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA).
His appointment to succeed Pierangelo Zanetta was confirmed at the trade association‘s spring board meeting.
Morley, Daiwa UK Deputy Managing Director, has been involved in the fishing tackle industry for over 25 years, joining the Japanese tackle giant as a sales representative in 1990.
“As a lifelong angler, I am honoured to be elected as EFTTA President and hope going forward that our association will continue to powerfully protect and represent the interests of all anglers and the fishing tackle trade in Europe and beyond,” said Morley.
Morley will head up this year’s EFTTA General Assembly alongside other members of the board during EFTTEX in Amsterdam (www.efttex.com).
He has urged all members to attend the meeting which will explain EFTTA’s activities over the last year. It will take place on Friday, June 17 from 9am to 10am – after the breakfast (8.30am) – in Room F002, at the RAI, Amsterdam, venue for EFTTEX.
It is open to full EFTTA members and one of the attendees will receive a year’s free membership of the association following a prize draw at the end of the meeting.
