PT Central Sarana Pancing (CSP), the Indonesian-based owner of the Relix, CarpLinq and Catlinq brands, upstaged fellow exhibitors at last year’s China Fish trade show by winning three product awards.
The company is looking to further build on that success and has high podium hopes again this year ahead of unveiling the glow-in-the-dark Hook Assist, Relix Master Casting PE line and Relix Traveller Shark casting rod.
The Hook Assist Glow in the Dark has the head and tentacles of a squid which are designed to be irresistible to predator fish. The line is suitable for spinning and has features that reduce twist and tangles to a minimum. It is equipped with an RG guide system that is balanced to deliver long casts and heavy lifting power.
The Relix Traveller Shark casting rod has been named to highlight the plight of an estimated 100 million sharks that are killed for their fins. It has a lightweight blank that is made of high quality carbon and boasts a sensitive tip that makes it suitable for top water lure fishing. The three-section rod measures 7’3″ and takes PE 2.5lb line.
Company owner and line design expert, Rivai Susanto, told Angling International that he is looking forward to welcoming visitors to a new booth location – C005 – this year, with a reminder that, aside from the Master Casting PE line, there will be additions to the company’s innovative High Stitch range. “We showed off several significant developments and innovations in 2018, including the High Stitch braid.
“More and more anglers are using PE braided line and with that comes higher expectations for the product. We developed High Stitch technology to deliver a more comfortable and better fishing experience with improved abrasion resistance and a longer life. We will be offering a whole range of High Stitch at the show.”
Another unique feature of High Stitch is its Teflon coating. Teflon is a trademark of Chemours, part of the DuPont group. It provides better protection, a smoother surface and improved knot strength.
Rivai added: “The coating process using Teflon is more complicated and expensive than standard PE procedures, but there is no doubting its quality and that it is why it is one of CSP’s best selling products.”
Also on view at China Fish will be a collection of new chod rigs and accessories for carp fishing.
