Quantum Exo 101HPT ‘outstanding’ EFTTEX winner

Frerk Petersen – Zebco Europe’s Marketing Manager and Public Relations – had no doubt that his company’s Exo 101HPT was a worthy winner in the EFTTEX Multiplier Reel category.

He was unequivocal: “The Exo reel concept is so outstanding that it absolutely deserves the award. Having the lightest bait caster, but so strong that you could still run a pick-up truck over it – what else could you wish for?

“It is a confirmation that it was the totally right decision by our partner, Zebco US, to invest multi-millions in its own reel factory where you have full control over all the production stages.

“This is already the third EFTTEX reel winner to come out of the same factory which confirms our status as one of the world’s leading reel manufacturers.”

Zebco Europe could have been celebrating a double as its Quantum Exo 15PTi  spinning reel came close to glory in the Fixed Spool Reel category – being one of the two products to win commendations.

Petersen added: “ The Exo came close in its category. I believe if we had a new #40/50 size at the show, it may have won. The weight advantage is much more impressive on the larger sizes.

“Unfortunately it only becomes available this week which made it just too late for the show.”
