Leading protective eyewear manufacturer, Wiley X, has welcomed two more top anglers to its Elite Fishing Team.
Dutch anglers, Hendry Vis and Gerald Vierhout, have come on board following their success in the 2018 Predatortour competition which took place on the Haringvliet and Hollands Diep lakes, in Holland earlier this year. During the event the pair boated the biggest fish of the tournament – a 130.4cm pike.
“We are very proud to join the team. All of its members are very skilled anglers and have achieved so much in all types of fishing competitions, including the likes of two-time World Predator Classic Champions, Luc Coppens and Jeremy Staverman, who triumphed using Wiley X eyewear,” said Vis and Vierhout. “We are also aware of the exploits of Edwin Evers, the 2016 winner of the Bassmaster Classic in the US.”
“For predator fishing we not only need polarised glasses, but the best quality lenses and colours. Good quality eyewear is the best investment we have made. Fish are often found in or around structure, so when you have the best view in the water, you can fish more effectively.”
Wiley X EMEA Vice President and Outdoor Director, Thomas Wæver, added: ” It will be an honour to work closely with Hendry and Gerald. They are two talented and influential anglers. Their terrific win in the Predatortour speaks for itself and I look forward to learning from them. Wiley X is guaranteed to gain from their knowledge in the future.”
