More than 5,000 anglers have registered to attend the third Pêche Expo, which will take place in Belgium later this month.
Entrance to the event is free and every angler in Belgium who buys a fishing licence automatically gets an invitation to the biannual event in Libramont, in the Wallooon principality of the country. The organiser expects an attendance in excess of 6,000 as many people will simply turn up on one of the two days.
The expo, which will take place on November 24th and 25th at the Libramont Exhibition & Congress Centre, is regarded as an excellent place for people within the industry to do business, meet customers and show off their latest fishing tackle. The event also includes a number of seminars on the hot angling topics of the day, plus a demonstration pool.
Pêche Expo prides itself on being a truly international event with visitors travelling from as far afield as the Duchy of Luxembourg, the Netherlands and north-eastern France as well as Belgium.
The event covers more than 4,000sqm of floor space which will be packed full of all the latest fishing innovations from all aspects of the sport, including fly, carp, predator and sea. There will also be extensive demonstrations of all types of tackle.
