Netherlands-based Piet Vogel Rigsolutions says that by using its Shokka Sleeve or Shooka Prop the lead will easily slide away during the instinctive headshaking action of the carp after it has taken the bait.
Both are compatible for almost all inline lead brands and come in Weed and Muddy Brown & Gravel colours. There are five to each bag.
The company has also introduced Ready-Made Line Aligners which are said to be an ideal substitute for a shrink tube. As they are ready-made anglers can easily create a hook that can turn and is suitable for both long and short shank hooks.
The curved shape and short extension created by the line aligner makes a bigger gap and gives the hook a more ‘aggressive’ hooking angle. This means that it pricks faster and more safely in the front of the mouth.
The Rigsolutions Line Aligner is made of a flexible material, but is still stiff enough to act as a real extension. It is available in Silt and Gravel in packs of 10.
The Strip-It removable sink line is a sinking and stream-resistant hooklink material with a high knot strength.
It has a very supple inner braid with a matte, transparent and easy-to-strip coating. It has no memory which makes it easy to stretch by hand and comes in 20 metre spools in Silt & Weed.
