Pacific Pêche sale is confirmed

The sale of the French-based retail fishing tackle chain, Pacific Pêche, has gone through.
As previously reported in Angling International, Paul Herrera, former President and CEO, along with Laurent Vignelles, Managing Director, both owners of ASD International and Ribon Ten SAS, have sold their business to private equity group, Weinber Capital Partners. The closing took place at the end of last month in Paris.
The company will be operated by the highly experienced distribution specialist, Eric Faintreny, previously CEO at Ezibuy, New Zealand, BtoC for 3 Suisses International Group and Charmain and CEO of Redcats USA, Inc., and Franck Courtillet, formerly Managing Director at La Sert, Garbolino Europe and Zebco Sports France.
Herrera and Vignelles, have both announced their retirement. Their commitment to, and passion for, fishing has helped develop several Europe-wide brands and has propelled their businesses into the most successful French fishing tackle retail chains with 40 individual stores and a cross-channel distribution network.
