New VP of Marketing and Sales at Dyneema

DSM Dyneema, the manufacturer of what is trademarked as the world’s strongest fibre and a key component in high-quality fishing lines, has appointed a new head of its sales and marketing operation.
Olivier Janin, who has more than 20 years’ experience managing innovation strategies and product portfolio lifecycles, takes up his position as VP of Marketing and Sales on September 1st.
Janin has degrees in business administration and industrial marketing from Exeter University in the UK and Paris-SUD University in France.
He will also join the Strategic Leadership Team at Netherlands-based DSM Dyneema and will report directly to the company’s President, Golnar Motahari Pour.
DSM Dysneema makes Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene fibre (UHMWPE), which is branded as Dyneema and is known for its extreme strength and lightness. As well as fishing, it is used in the ropes, cables, nets, shipping, safety, medical, clothing, sportswear plus the police and military sectors.
