The Fury 4 propeller is just what ‘heavy boat’ anglers have been waiting for, according to manufacturer Mercury Propellers.
It is, says the Wisconsin company, the fastest propeller in the world for tournament-loaded boats.
Introduced at the recent Bassmaster Classic, the Fury 4 is designed for bass tournament anglers who carry lots of gear and require a propeller that will help them reach top speeds to give them a competitive edge.
The propeller has four high-progressive-rake blades made from Mercury’s X7 Alloy to provide additional lift and speed. It features eight PVS holes to get boats on plane faster and deliver excellent shallow water launches.
Mercury says the Fury 4 can also be relied upon for stable handling and superior holding in rough water, helping anglers overcome conditions and get to the weigh-in on time.
The Fury 4, recommended for tournament-loaded bass boats with outboard power in excess of 200hp, is available in 24, 25 and 26-inch pitches in right-hand rotation.
It complements the original Fury propeller, so there is now a Fury for all anglers. The three-blade original Fury is more suited to providing speed for light and medium loads.
