Lund Boats says that it now offers the most complete series of hardcore tiller fishing craft in the industry following the introduction of its three newly designed Pro Guides – the 1775, 1875 and 2075.
Built with noticeably lengthened hulls and broader beams, the new craft are said to provide ‘exceptional’ comfort and legroom.
The re-engineered boats also boast extra rod storage, improved Pro Command consoles and greater maximum horsepower ratings. The 1875 Pro Guide features a rod locker that safeguards up to 10 rods of up to eight feet in length. An additional Pro Series side locker at the driver’s fingertips has a double-hinged door and stows three more rods of up to nine feet in length and an additional two of up to eight feet six inches.
The 1775 and 2075 Pro Guides also offer expanded rod storage and each is capable of housing at least 15 rod and reel combos of up to nearly 10 feet.
The console on each model has all the critical system controls, gauges and angling accessories at the fingertips of the captain. Integrated split drawer storage, plus a compartment for up to eight 3,600-size tackle trays (1875 and 2075) easily accommodates all lures, tools and devices.
An elite electronics platform provides mounting space for two widescreen sonar units and folds down and into a lockable compartment when not in use. There is also an optional premium music system, vital gauges and a 12 volt power receptacle for running and recharging portable devices.
The Pro Command console even includes a built-in bait cooler (1775) while an aerated baitwell lies within arm’s reach. Each model has two large livewells and the 1875 and 2075 boast Lund’s patented ProLong Plus aeration system.
With motor capacities of up to 200 hp, the Pro Guides run at higher top speeds than competing brands. Moreover, says Lund, its trademark IPS and IPS2 hulls provide ‘the smoothest, driest and safest’ ride you will ever experience.
