American Sportfishing Association (ASA) Trade Show Director, Ken Andres, has resigned just over a month after the best-ever attended ICAST.
The ASA says Andres has left ‘to pursue new interests.’ “We appreciate all that Ken has accomplished in growing the show over his tenure and wish him the best in the future,” an official statement from the ASA read.
“The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) is committed to producing the best trade show possible show for its members and this year was no exception. In fact, with 15,000 people in attendance, it was the biggest show yet, attracting an even larger group of buyers and key media.”
The ASA says the search for a new trade show director is already underway.
Andres was with the ASA for nine years, overseeing ICAST for the previous five. He was a key cog in orchestrating ICAST On the Water and the addition of the NMMA pavilion at this year’s show.
