A start-up company which made its debut at EFTTEX earlier this year could have its product available in nine countries within the next six months following a successful show.
INOVA, set up by Martin McGowan – creator of the plastic Bait Weaver – enjoyed a successful first outing at Europe’s premier tackle trade show, attracting the attention of visitors with its range of products.
The main attraction was the INOVA Bait Binder for dispensing bait elastic. It is already available in Germany through World Fishing Tackle, Croatia with Maguro and Ireland with Shamrock Fishing Tackle. McGowan added that, based on the feedback from EFTTEX, he is aiming to have the product on sale in at least another seven countries.
“It was very well received by the trade and was developed as a result of listening to our customers and feedback from anglers all over the world. Fishermen told us of the issue of not knowing when elastic bait was running low. With a new transparent top section, we have solved the problem. Along with that, and the Dayglow orange and adjustments to the tensioning device, I have been able to make the Bait Binder the successful product that it is today – the smartest tool in the box!”
The company shared a booth with Kudos Fishing Tackle and McGowan told Angling International that the experience reinforced his belief that EFTTEX was the show to be at if you are serious about getting new business. “I was very impressed by the quality of visitors to the booth,” he added.
