After Europe, it’s America’s turn to see what Hobie Cat describes as the ‘most versatile fishing boat’ it has ever made.
The new Hobie Mirage Drive Pro Angler 12, which made its first public appearance at EFTTEX in Paris, will be centre stage at ICAST in Orlando.
The ‘go anywhere’ Pro 12 has been designed for anyone who wants to fish lakes, rivers or open waters with no boundaries and will be showcased alongside a number of new accessories as well as Hobie’s other fishing kayaks..
The Angler Pro 12 has been developed at Hobie’s US headquarters in Oceanside, California, by its Fishing Product Manager, Morgan Promnitz and his team.
Promnitz says that it is the ‘perfect fishing kayak’.
He said: “Our team is made of several extremely experienced individuals who strive to put forth the best in fishing technology.
“After months of hard work and testing, it is our conclusion that the Angler Pro 12’s features combine to make it the perfect fishing kayak.”
Keeton Eoff, Fishing Strategic Development, at Hobie Cat, says that the company’s game plan at ICAST is simple. “We want to meet with new people and share the benefits of Hobie and our Mirage Drive fishing kayaks with as many visitors as possible.
“We are introducing more and more people to Hobie kayak fishing and that is what’s important.
“ICAST gives us a chance to show off these super products and an opportunity to talk to existing and potential new retailers. It’s also a great time to get a feel for the pulse of the industry.”
