Rapala USA will be introducing six new products across its wide brand range at this year’s ICAST.
There will be new hardbaits from Rapala, terminal tackle from VMC, Trigger X Aggression softbaits, more mouldbreaking Sufix line, electronics from MarCum, and a new Honda Lite Auger from the recently acquired StrikeMaster.
Kelly Brockpahler, Marketing Director, Rapala USA, said: “Introducing new product is our main objective at ICAST and to create that media buzz about everything new that is coming out of Rapala.”
New from Rapala USA at ICAST will be:
Rapala BX Series
Described by Rapala pro angler, Mike ‘Ike’ Iaconelli, as ‘the liveliest, yet toughest balsa-constructed bait ever produced’. He adds: “By wrapping these balsa baits in a copolymer shell, anglers can tangle with the strongest jaws in both salt and freshwater without compromise.”
VMC Holy Hooks and Jigs
‘Ike-inspired and Ike-approved’, VMC says that it is completely changing the landscape of hook application and presentation with the news series of Mike ‘Ike’ Iaconeili designed hooks and jigs.
Trigger X Aggression Goo Bug, Drop Dead Minnow, Slop Hopper
BassMaster Classic Champion and Trigger X pro Angler, Davy Hite, says: “Last year Trigger X introduced models and colours that were nothing like anglers had ever seen. Trigger X has outdone itself this year and raised the bar by creating out-of-this-world baits that will be winners for pros and anglers alike.
Sufix 832 Leadcore
The ‘strongest and most versatile’ leadcore available, according to Al Lindner, legendary angler and National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Famer. “It’s ideal for trolling and big-game species because of the added strength and extreme sensitivity,” he adds.
MarCum says the LX-9 is a ‘fish-finding marvel’ that is waiting to explore and be explored.
StrikeMaster Honda Lite Auger
StrikeMaster pro and ice fishing vigilante, Tom Neustrom, says of this environmentally-friendly, Honda-driven machine: “If you aren’t running a StrikeMaster 4-stroke, lay down your arms because we’re going to drill holes around you.”
