Registration is now open for the world’s largest fishing tackle trade show.
Those intending to attend ICAST between July 12th and 15th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, can now do so by logging onto www.ICASTfishing.org and clicking onto the Registration button.
If you attended the show in 2015, you should have received an email from Experient, the ASA’s registration company, with your username and password which is required to start the ICAST 2016 registration process.
Super Tuesday’s On The Water At Lake Toho was introduced last year and was such a success that the event will be repeated prior to ICAST 2016.
More than 50 ICAST exhibitors took advantage of the occasion to demonstrate their products on the water and will be doing so again at the venue which is just a short shuttle ride away from the Orange County Convention Center.
ICAST is once again partnering with the FLW to host the ICAST Cup – the industry bass fishing tournament. The weigh-in takes place during the product demonstrations.
Also on Tuesday morning, Florida Sportsman is partnering with ICAST to host the second annual Bass & Birdies golf tournament. The proceeds of this will go towards KeepAmericaFishing, the sportfishing industry’s angler advocacy programme.
Opening night concert with Cole Swindell
ICAST is kicking up the energy level this year with the Tuesday night concert, featuring country music star Cole Swindell.
Tickets, costing $30, can be purchased when you register for badges. A portion of the proceeds will go to KeepAmericaFishing.
Swindell will be on stage from 8pm at the Orange County Convention Center.
One of North America’s most in-demand speakers at Industry Breakfast
Ken Schmidt, former Director of Communications Strategy for the iconic Harley-Davidson Motor Company, will be the keynote speaker at the annual State of the Industry Breakfast on the opening day of ICAST.
One of the most in-demand speakers and communications consultants in the US, he has toured the world on two wheels, meeting presidents and royalty alike, appearing on network news on numerous occasions.
The event is being held from 7.30am to 8.45am on Wednesday, July 13th in the Valencia Room, Fourth Floor, in the Orange County Convention Center. Tickets, costing $40 each or $400 for a table seating ten, are available when you register for the show.
