ICAST Industry Breakfast tickets selling fast

Described as one of the most important events for the sport fishing trade in the U.S., the State of the Industry Breakfast takes place on the first day of the ICAST show on Wednesday, July 11.

Tickets are available for the event which takes place from 7.30am (doors open 15 minutes earlier) in Room S320, in the South Hall of the Orange County Convention Center.

Glenn Hughes, the new President of the American Sportfishing Association (ASA) – owner of ICAST – will deliver his first address at the event, outlining policies and management decisions that can affect businesses in the industry.

Additional breakfast speakers are Kirk Immens, President of Sportco Marketing, Inc. and ASA Board of Directors Chairman, and Frank Peterson, President and CEO, of the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF).

The Keynote Speaker will be Commander Kirk Lippold, former Commander of the USS Cole, which was targeted by an al Qaeda terrorist attack in 2000, 11 months before 9/11. His team training prior to the event and unflappable leadership after galvanised his crew to action, resulting in lives and the ship being saved.

Engaged leader, hands-on crisis management practitioner and a go-to global security expert for major news networks, Lippold will talk about the foundation for team success and time-critical decisions based on integrity.

Tickets are $40 each or $400 for a table of ten. They are available for purchase when you register for the show.
