Sandy fails to stop International Fly Tying Symposium
Superstorm Sandy, which wreaked havoc across New York this month, has failed to stop the 2012 International Fly Tying Symposium on November 17 and 18.
Show Director Chuck Furimsky said that his office had been receiving calls regarding the status of the event following the storm. “We are glad to announce that it will be held as planned in Somerset, New Jersey,” he told the Angling International website.
Celebrating its 22nd year, the event is being held at the Garden State Exhibit Center and attracts some of the world’s top fly tyers.
