The Pike Angler jacket is the latest product from Hotspot Design, a young Italian company specialising in the manufacture of fishing clothing.
The nylon, breathable jacket incorporates a polyester micro-fleece lining for extra warmth and a laced hood. A zipped, side vent makes it easy to pull on and take off.
A large chest pocket and two side ones with zippers and flaps are provided to carry tackle, tools, phones or other belongings.
Hotspot Design says the jacket is water repellant and ensures complete protection against, wind, snow and cold.
The black material is silk-screen printed with a green ‘Pike’ logo on the right sleeve and the word ‘Angler’ in white on the left sleeve, and the words ‘Pike Angler’ in green and white on the front. The rear is branded with a stylised drawing of a pike overprinted with the word ‘Pike.’
“This jacket is appreciated by anglers for both its technical qualities and for its design,” says the manufacturer. “Meticulous care has been taken in every detail. We have designed it specifically for pike anglers after the success of our carp fishing jacket.”
The Pike Angler jacket is available in medium, large, extra large and extra, extra large. The manufacturer recommends washing and ironing at temperatures no higher than 40 degrees to prolong the life of the jacket and the silk-screen printing.
Hotspot Design also produces sweatshirts, T-shirts, sweatpants, caps and snoods. In addition to its domestic market, the business has outlets in 16 different countries.
