Hobie appoints media relations company to handle PR

Leading kayak brand, Hobie, has appointed fishing industry company, Traditions Media, to handle its PR.
Keeton Eoff, Director of Global Strategy for Hobie, said the move would complement his company’s efforts to support its many initiatives in the kayak fishing space.
“As the sport of kayaking continues to reach new audiences, we look for every opportunity to communicate our message to the angling enthusiast,” he added.
Noel Vick, Traditions Media President, said the collaboration with the originator of the pedal drive system, MirageDrive, was a natural fit.
Headquartered in California, Hobie also has a strong presence in Europe and Australia and hosts the annual Hobie Fishing Worlds competition. Traditions Media includes Gill, Seaguar, St. Croix, Z-Man, LIVETARGET, Old Town, Plano and Raymarine among its other clients.
