Tackle Trade World magazine has parted company with Guido Knegt, the man responsible for its worldwide advertising sales with the exception of the US.
It is believed Knegt, who is based in Sardinia, failed to reach agreement with the magazine over the offer of a new freelance contract.
At the time of writing, there had been no announcement regarding a replacement. His exit after three years with the publication follows the departure of Editor, David Guest, earlier this year. His successor was in position for only a few weeks before being replaced by Chris Leibbrandt, who edits the magazine on a freelance basis.
The magazine’s publisher, David Hall Publishing (DHP), was acquired by MyTime Media in August this year. The long-serving editor of UK sister title Tackle and Guns, John Hunter, left last February and the publication’s associated show, Tackle & Guns, was cancelled due to lack of support in recent years.
