Griffiths returns to Shimano Europe development team

Shimano’s long-serving Richard Griffiths has returned to the company’s development team after almost three years as head of the UK marketing operation.
Griffiths will oversee and be involved in the development of products for the EU in his new role as Brand Manager (Carp and Coarse) for the Shimano Europe Group.
“Leading the UK marketing team has been extremely enjoyable and satisfying,” he told Angling International. “Now I am looking forward to again developing product for the coarse and carp markets in Europe.”
Griffiths spent 12 years with one of the UK’s biggest retailers before joining Shimano UK as Research Manager in June 2006. He also occupied roles as Brand Manager UK and Product Manager EU before his first stint as Product Developer EU.
