G. Loomis has redesigned its popular E6X Series to produce a lighter, more durable bass rod that it recommends for both performance and value.
The 2018 range comprises 33 technique-specific rods and includes the Woodland, Washington, brand’s Mag Bass (MBR) casting and Spin Jig (SJR) spinning models.
“These rods are the perfect choice for anglers who have not used a G. Loomis rod and who want to add specific actions to their rod arsenal, like a big swimbait rod or a dropshot spinning rod for finesse fishing,” said G. Loomis Senior Planning Manager, David Brinkerhoff. “The E6X series has it covered.”
According to Brinkerhoff, the upgrade has been achieved using lighter, stronger blanks and smaller guide trains for better balance.
The 13 casting rods include jig, worm and crankbait models, a flip/punch rod, two swimbait models and a spinnerbait rod.
All the technique-specific casting, MBR and SJR rods come with full cork grips and Fuji guides, and the casting models also feature Fuji exposed blank trigger reel seats.
The 14 spinning rods have split cork grip handles with comfortable, streamlined Fuji reel seats and Fuji guides.
