Frabill doesn’t hold back in describing its Flow-Troll bait container. It is, says the US company simply, the most popular bait container in history. So it’s hardly surprising to see a bigger, beefier version of the product being made available.
The 10-quart Magnum Flow-Troll (four quarts bigger than the original) features a self-closing lid and locking door. Pulled behind the boat, the soft plastic container is engineered to sit partially submerged while water and oxygen interchange to keep bait lively and accessible.
Dropped into the water the Flow-Troll will rotate and right itself, with the vented door upwards and the aeration holes taking in oxygenated water from the rear. With the cost of the first fill of bait likely to be as much or more than the cost of the container, the Flow-Troll is a sound investment, says Frabill.
Predicated on durability, the Flow-Troll’s tough exterior is designed to withstand contact with rocks, docks and other bumps and bashes sustained during a fishing trip.
